Golfer Davis Love III took advantage of the stunning views of Lake Greenwood and the rolling landscape in his design for the Patriot. The course has a classical, unforced style with intricate greens and an unusual earthen star fort that stands as both the starting point and a reminder of the area’s Revolutionary War heritage. Voted best new course in South Carolina when it was built in 2004, the Patriot has a logical routing plan that promotes walking. Grand Harbor also includes a tennis center, equestrian center and marina.
